A Celebration of Life

Patricia A. Hale entered heaven's gates on August 15, 2017. She was born on May 28, 1934 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania to the late Abraham Nathaniel Primus and Alice Gertrude Viverette. She was one of 4 children born to this union. Patricia was preceded in death by her brother Donald Primus. Patricia was a graduate of Schenley High School. She was married to Enoch J. Hale and enjoyed a loving and lasting marriage of 52 years. She had 7 children, 2 step children and raised 3 grand children, they are: Virginia Primus, William Cross, Sheryl Cross, Roderick Hale, Brenda Hale, Falcon Hale, Derrick Hale, Jason Hale, Veronica Smith, Duane Primus, Harmony Thompson and Melodie Thompson. Patricia had an unwavering faith in god and attended Webster Avenue Christian & Missionary Alliance Church where she enjoyed worship services and fellowship whenever she could. She was an avid reader, she enjoyed puzzles, music, dance, arts and crafts and was probably the biggest Steeler fan in Western PA. Patricia was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. A compassionate woman, she loved her family and opened her heart to anyone in need and always made room even when there was no room. She will be remembered by her children, Virginia Primus, William Cross, Sheryl Cross, Roderick Hale, Brenda Hale, Falcon Hale and Derrick Hale; Stepchildren Jason Hale and Veronica Smith; Brother Robert Primus of North Carolina and Sister Nancy Greene of California; Sixteen grandchildren: Duane,Jameil,Danielle,Jakeisha(Primus) Janice Gibson, Leslie, Harmony, Melodie(Thompson) Trent Beverly, Tadd, Cheyenne, Phoenix and Tacoma (Hale) Brandon Taylor, Alana and Tyler(White) a host of great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A loving wife, an adored mother, a cherished sister, a beloved aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
