William Leroy Epps

William Leroy Epps of Meadville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Meadville Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

William was born in Scottsdale, PA on February 5, 1932, he was preceded in death by his parents Sydney Epps and Sally Epps Bell, his sister; Anna Mae Jones, and his granddaughter; AntiQua “TT,” King.

On July 10, 2006 he married Carrie Epps in West Virginia and they spent 18 years together.

William was a loving father to Dawyne Epps (Philadelphia, PA), Bradford Epps (Philadelphia, PA), Mike Epps (Orlando, Florida), Crystal Epps (New Castle, PA), Shawn Epps (Meadville, PA), and Phillip Pearson (Morganton, NC). William’s grandchildren; ShaQuallya Lipscomb (NC), Michael Lipscomb (NC), Shonce Conley (NC), Michael Stintson (FL), Latresha Epps (OH), Shakayiah Epps (GA), Carlos F. King, Jr. (PA) DaQueisha Epps (PA), DaQuanda Epps (PA), DeQuan Epps (PA), Shawn Epps, Jr. (NY), Abryanna Epps (PA), Gia Epps (PA), Koben Cardwell (NC), Noah Peason (NC) and a host of great grandchildren. William absolutely loved & adored all of his grandchildren!

William served in the military and after discharging from the Army he went to work at Sunbeam in Meadville, PA, where he worked for 25 years.  William loved fishing, cooking, playing baseball and spending time with his family, friends, and loved ones.

William answered the call to ministry to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to uplift, support, and encourage others.  William loved life; he had a talent for making other people laugh and he lived his live to the fullest!
