Thedora Ann Thompson was born on December 13, 1954, in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania to the late Margaret Marie Taylor and Lloyd Scott. Thedora
Ann Thompson (aka Tee Tee), aged 71, passed away in St. Clair Hospital in
the presence of her family on December 13, 2025. A loving mother, devoted
grandmother, great-grandmother, generous friend, and fierce nurturer,
Thedora’s life was defined by grace, strength, and unconditional love.
Born on December 13, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Thedora was the
oldest of 4 children and quickly took on the role of peacemaker and caregiver.
She met her husband, Kenneth Thompson Sr, in 1971 and the two shared a
joyful marriage of 50 years until her recent passing. Together, they built a
home where love, laughter, and honesty always came first.
Tee Tee worked as a homemaker for all her life, but one day she decided that
she wanted to go work along the side of her daughter at Arby’s located in
South Hills Village Mall. In her free time, she loved to sew and crochet. Tee
could sew and crochet anything you wanted and or asked for. She was so
generous that she would give you the clothes off her back whether you were
family or not.
At home, she was the matriarch of her family — the one who remembered
every birthday, cooked every holiday meal, and always made time to listen.
She enjoyed playing games on her iPad, crossword puzzles, and spending
time with her family, and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Margaret Taylor and Lloyd Scott Sr.
and her beautiful daughter, Kenna Marie Thompson.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Thompson Sr, her
daughter, Keonda Dunn (Mike), two sons Keith Thompson (Michelle) and
Kenneth Thompson Jr, and four grandchildren Jehvonn, Jeremiah, Jaice, and
Christian who lovingly called her “Gram.” She is also survived by one great
grandson, Ziontae Hamilton. She also leaves behind three brothers, Thomas
Taylor (Barbara) of Verona, Tyrone Taylor of Pittsburgh, and Terrance
Winton of East Pittsburgh, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Thedora Ann Thompson lived a life of service, loyalty, and love. Her family
was her greatest joy, and her legacy will live on in the lives she nurtured and
healed.
