Terrance Alon Mattox

Terrance Mattox was born on March 15, 1964, and passed away on March 25, 2026. He lived his life to the fullest and was known for his strength, style, and the love he had for his family and community.

Terrance was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his daughter, Tarrick Lavender, a host of grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Terrance Mattox.

He also leaves behind his father, Lonnie Mattox; his brothers, Jamie Mattox and Randi Mattox; and his sister, Angie Mattox. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ramey.

Terrance worked at the VA Hospital and the Hill House, where he mentored young men and touched many lives. Known as one of the best dressers in the Hill District and throughout Pittsburgh, he will be remembered for his presence, his heart, and the way he lived boldly and loved deeply.

Terrance Mattox will truly be missed.
