Terance Spencer was born on July 28, 1966, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Married Nathan McMichael on July 9, 2016. Terry was the youngest of three children born to Thomas Spencer Sr. and Regina Spencer. Terry attended South Park High School in Library, Pennsylvania, where he graduated in 1984. He earned his B.S. in Business from Duquesne University and earned his second B.S. in Arts of Social Science from Ashford University and his Masters in Education - Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. He was a teacher at Urban League of Pittsburgh where he was a kindergarten teacher for two years. He was a 4th-grade teacher at Sto-Rox Upper Elementary school for eight years. Zion Baptist Church, and he sang in the Mix Mass Choir, and Community Choir, and was a member of the Usher Board.

Terry was preceded in death by his brother Timothy D. Spencer, his grandfather Arthur L. White and grandmother Josephine White.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his husband Nathan McMichael of South Park, Pennsylvania, father and mother Thomas Spencer Sr. and Regina Spencer, of Library, Pennsylvania, and Thomas Spencer Jr. of Bethel Park, and three nephews, Cameron Whiting of NC, Garrett Spencer, and Tyler Spener of Pittsburgh, and great-nephews Isaiah and Omari. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and all the people that were special in his life and you know who you are.
