TaRon Perry Reid was born on December 21, 1979, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Perry Reid and Karen Jeffries. TaRon was a proud graduate of Gateway Senior High School. After high school, he pursued his passion for technology by enrolling at Brafford Trade School, where he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Programming and Applications. Committed to furthering his education, he later attended the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), majoring in Physical Therapy and graduating with the Class of 2010. Throughout his life, TaRon was a dedicated worker. He was employed by Amazon and later drove for Lyft and Uber, always enjoying the opportunity to meet and connect with people. He also worked at a nursing home, where he cared for the elderly with compassion and dedication. TaRon had a deep love for music—especially rap—and aspired to produce it. His vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and love for those around him made him a joy to be with. Family was at the center of his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with loved ones. On September 16, 2025, Tae departed this life for his eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Earl A. Lawson and William L. Reid, and his grandmother, Ruby Reid. Ta Ron leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of many, including his beloved mother, Karen Jeffries (Kevin); father, Perry Reid; daughter, Tatioyna Reid; daughter-in-love, Ataya Dixon; his precious granddaughter, Lai’Lonni Fulmore; sister, Keyora Jeffries; nephew, Ezra Jeffries; grandmother, Irene Lawson; uncle, Glynn Reid; cousins, Jamar, Justin, and Joshua Reid; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
