Steven Mark Parr

Steven Mark Parr was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 31, 1960. He was the third child born to Dennis Parr and the late Elizabeth Parr. Steven attended Westinghouse House High School and at the age of 17 years old he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was a Machinist Mate on the USS El Paso Port in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After several years of service Steven was honorably discharged.

He was a proud father of two children, Denise and Steven Parr and the grandfather of three. He loved and adored his children and to him there were no children on earth as perfect and blessed as his. Even though he was not perfect father, Steven cherished every moment he communicated with them. Sometimes in the middle of the night he would get the urge to call them just to talk. Steven loved his children and his family. Steven had a funny side to him. He would share some of the most funniest statements that would keep everyone laughing. His personality exhibited laughter even in the midst of his hidden pain.

On November 29, 2018, Steven departed this life for life eternal. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Denise Parr and Steven Parr; grandchildren, Autumn, Lilly, and Dominic; father, Dennis Parr Sr.; siblings, Denise (David) Everson, Dennis Parr Jr., Blair (Emelyn) Parr; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
