Sean Bernard Abernathy Born January 14,1993 in Pittsburgh, PA passed away at UPMC Monroeville East on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 28. He will be greatly missed for his unique sense of humor and seeing the good in others.
Sean, a Taylor Allderdice High School Graduate, attended the Lincoln University and later graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science from Purdue University. He then began to pursue his career, he worked as Health Administrator at UPMC and was an Aide at We Care From The Heart.
Sean was a beautiful person who brightened the light in everyone he encountered. No matter the circumstance he made the best out of every situation. Sean was a very dedicated, determined and never let anything stop him from doing what he wanted to accomplish. He was what you considered a bright light in a dark room, life of the party, a kind heart with a loving soul who love to dance!
Sean will be greatly missed everyday by his Father, Sean Bernard Abernathy Sr., his Mother, Lisa Michelle Abernathy, brother Edric Tyrone McArthur Jr., Sister Sydnee LaShelle Abernathy, his Half-Sister Tashayla Nacole Day & Niece Diajah Lanae Taylor. Grandmothers Stephanie Adelle Abernathy, Mary Francis Riggins and late Great-Grandmother Almeader Keys, his Grandfather Bernard Hammock El(Bernice), late Grandfather David E. Moore Jr.(Doreen) & late Great Grandfather Sidney Keys.
Sean Also leaves 6 Godchildren, Alexia Adelle Abernathy, Terrence Lee Walker Jr., Journey Seane Walker, Tyrone Conner Cooper, (The Twins) Tremaine Cortez Cooper & Tyler Carson Cooper.
Sean leaves cherish fond memories of, “Off the hook” family times with uncle, David E. Moore(Christian), Aunt, Olivia Harris, his Cousins Kyia Pride and Olyver Gardner, His Best Friends, Cidney Edwards, Torrell Griffin and Fredrick Norris, along with a host of family and friends.
We know now he is dancing in heaven with his Aunt, Almeader Abernathy-Walker.
