Robin Denise Garner

Robin Denise Garner (Dennie), 63, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, transcended unto God's unchanging hands on August 5th, 2025 in Washington, PA. She was born on December 7th, 1961 to Robert and Katherine Garner. Beloved granddaughter of Jean Bowling and Joseph Moorefield. Cherished great granddaughter of Sally Wright Anderson and Enoch Chenault. Robin was surrounded by love from family and friends to whom her life is a testimony of faith and endurance.

Faith in the Lord was instilled in Robin early as she grew up attending Good Hope Baptist Church where she was a baptized member and her grandmother served as Trustee. Robin was also a member of Good Hope Mass Choir with her siblings and taught Vacation Bible School during the summer where her students still love her to this very day. She loved music and played the xylophone on stage while in school. Robin was kind hearted and high spirited as a cheerleader for Westinghouse High School. She loved to share her wisdom, testimony and experiences with others.

Robin left Pittsburgh, PA to live in Falls Church, VA for several years before returning back to Pittsburgh, PA to help care for her mother and grandmother in their golden years. As her matriarchs loving primary caregiver, she stood alongside them in prayer, surrounded by family, ever present in their passing. A kind and true caregiver to the very end. 

Robin is survived by her children, JoNova and Javell, her sister Renee, her grandchildren, Carvel, Cherish, Javell and Denver, her niece Janelle, and a host of grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in passing by her brother Robert, parents and grandparents. She is greatly loved and deeply missed but her light shines brightly in our hearts and minds. We love our last Matriarch Robin Denise Garner to life for life. May God continue to bless her precious soul. Peace.
