Late Wednesday afternoon August 25, 2021, the angels of silence entered West Penn Hospital with sweet relief and sealed the lips of Robert Garner.
His soul winged the flight from this world of sin and pain to a place of eternal rest. Robert excepted Christ at an early age. Bob was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. He was educated in the
Pittsburgh public school system. After leaving school, Bob joined the Air Force. Completing his time in the military, Bob worked for a short period of time in the US Postal Service. He
then became a construction worker maintenance worker until health failed him. Bob had been fighting cancer for the past few years. Bob loved to cook, also loved to cook for his younger nieces and nephews. His favorite saying to them was"Let's Grease" He also loved to watch the old movies especially the westerns on tv. He was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester

Garner Ridenour, Shirley A Garner, Grandparents Mr./Mrs. Lewis Roberts and Garner and a very special friend Ida May Green. He leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life, His brother Louis S. Garner and wife Barbara of Maryland. Sister Constance D. Sewell of Pittsburgh.
