Ralph William Davis III

Ralph Davis III was called home on June 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith. A proud graduate of Westinghouse High School, Class of 1973, Ralph went on to dedicate 25 years of hard work as a machine operator at Kerotest, specializing in CNC machinery. Ralph was also a diehard steelers fan.

in 1978, Ralph married the love of his life, Scharrit "Sissy" Davis. Their union was a testament to true devotion, lasting until her passing in 1998. Despite life's trials, Ralph's strength and resilience carried him forward. On January 1, 1990, he made a life-changing decision to pursue sobriety- a journey he embraced with courage and purpose. He became a beacon of hope for others, mentoring and advocating for those seeking freedom from addiction. 

In 2015, Ralph gave his life to Christ and became an active member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, PA. He found great joy in serving as an usher and, in 2021, joined the Men'd Group-a brotherhood rooted in faith, fellowship, and service. 

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Scharrit, and his mother, Frankie Mae Davis. He is survived by his loving father, Ralph W. Davis, Jr.; his children EbonyDawn Starks (Gregory) and Lamar Davis (Sharney); his brother Gary Davis; his sister Kimberly Davis; and his cherished grandchildren Aja Gilchrist, Genesis, Nehemiah, and Jeremiah Davis. He also leaves behind his nephew Stephen M. Dalton, and a host of family and friends whose lives were better for knowing him. 

Ralph's life was a testament to redemption, love, and faith. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
