Quevelle Gandy Obituary

Quevelle Gandy, 93, was born on June 29, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Ora Dee Simpson and Herman Gray. He departed this life on October 28, 2024.

Quevelle attended Oliver High School and was known for his gentle spirit, hard work, and love for his family and friends. Throughout his life Quevelle remained grounded in values that were instilled in him from a young age, bringing warmth and joy to those around him.

Quevelle spent his career working in the dairy industry, where he was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. He retired after many years of service, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity.

Quevelle was also a devoted husband to his beloved late wife, Ethel Diggs Gandy. Married for over 60 years, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them.

In his free time, Quevelle enjoyed bowling and singing, two hobbies that brought him great happiness and allowed him to connect with others. He was known for his warm voice, his sense of humor, and his caring spirit.

Quevelle's legacy and memory will be cherished by his siblings Henrietta Gray, Thomas Gray, Lula Bradley, and Pearl Quinn, as well as his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. His family and friends will remember hima s a pillar of love, strength, and kindness.
