Nathaniel Pearson, Jr. Obituary

Nathaniel (June, Nate, Niz) Pearson was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 9, 1972 to the late Charlotte Mitchell Pearson and Nathaniel Pearson Sr. He was suddenly called home on June 30, 2024.

Nate was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system where he attended Peabody High School. June, as his family called him, was loving, caring and a protector. June was always ready to have a good time, let him know when and where and he would be there.

Nate worked at Aramark, formerly known as Iron City Uniforms, for 22 years. Nate was a hard worker, always on time and ready to work. He made friends easily and knew how to treat others at the workplace. He had to resign in March of 2024 due to his illness.

June leaves behind to cherish the memory, of his two sisters April Pearson and Roxanne Pearson. He is preceded in death by his sister Movita Pearson.

Nate (Niz) was excellent to his children, who he leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter Jaquala Pearson and two sons, Naton Pearson and Nason Pearson, his grandsons Jahlil, Ladarius, Adriam and Naton Jr., granddaughters Lyriq, Lakynn and Ny’Ayla, his nephews Lamare, DeShawn, Brandon and Armond, nieces Narii, Shanikka, and April, great-nephews Jaylen, Eric, Christian, Niko, DeShawn Jr and Tyquale Jr, great-nieces Shania and Tru and his girlfriend Carmen Sewell.

Look For Me in Rainbows

It’s time for me to go now

But I won’t say goodbye

Look for me in rainbows,

Way up in the sky

In the morning sunrise

When all the world is new

Just look for me and love me

As you know I love you

Time for me to leave you

I won’t say goodbye

Look for me in rainbows

High up in the sky

In the sunset

When all the world is through

Just look for me and love me

And I’ll be close to you.

It won’t be forever

The day will come and then

My loving arms will hold you

When we meet again

The family would like to acknowledge every card, flower or any other act of kindness that has been shown towards us during our time of grief.

Dear Little Brother,

I know God called you home.

And you gave your life to Jesus Christ. When I got that call, my world came to a stop and held on to myself. And when we saw each other, all we could do was hug in silence for a long time, I tried not to cry because if you had seen me crying it would have made things worse. We both knew it was going to be an up-and-downhill battle. And you said to me “Remember you were my power of attorney before, a long time ago” I said yes and you said “I need you again now. I know you will take care of things for me the right way.” I smiled and said yes I got you. We will get through this together. I was happy and sad. I said my little brother knows he can still count on me. The joy in my heart, the time we spent together is wonderful and we always said “I love you” each night and day.

I will never forget it.

Watching TV, going back to our old school memories and laughing and saying “These kids today don’t know about this here”, the old Batman, you said your favorite words “You know” “Right”

It was my pleasure and my honour to walk with you on your journey my dear little brother.

I thank God for having you as my little brother June.

I love you and miss you, you know!

Love from your sister Rod
