Nakiyah L. Taylor

Nakiyah Lashay Taylor was born on February 24, 1999, in Pittsburgh, PA to Jamara Taylor and Anthony Lee. Nakiyah was the oldest of five siblings, Anthony Lee Jr., Nyaisha Taylor, Aonasti Lee, Tonae Lee, Sheriden Marsh, and London Marsh.
Nakiyah was a happy, sweet, loving, energetic, intelligent, outgoing, and please not let us forget stubborn young lady with a love for life and her family. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them because family was everything to her. Nakiyah was a devoted mother of three children, Khylee, Terrance, and Milo. Her children were her motivation for life. She wanted nothing more but to give them the world. Nakiyah enjoyed planning birthday parties, sleep overs, cookouts and just having fun with her children.
Nakiyah attended and graduated from the Pittsburgh Public School system. She worked as a cashier and home caregiver, but her true passion was doing hair. She made all her clients feel welcomed and beautiful.
Sadly, on April 25, 2022, Nakiyah was called to her eternal home. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Doretha Mae Green, great grandfather, Harry Butler, and her great uncle, JT Lee.
Nakiyah leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Jamara Taylor; father, Anthony Lee; grandmothers, Tonya Taylor and Lorraine Lee; her great-grandmother, Denise Taylor and her great-great grandmother, Viola Taylor; her favorite uncle who was more like a father to her, Jamaar Taylor; Nakiyah left behind 3 loving, beautiful and smart children, Khylee Taylor, Terrance Jones, III, and Milo Matthews; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
