Mourden Baldwin Obituary

Mourden Craig Baldwin was born on April 9, 1939, in Lineville, Alabama, to the late WC and Louise Craig (McKinney). She was the third of ten children born to this union. Mourden departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2025. Mourden and her family came to Pittsburgh, PA, in 1945 when she was a child. She was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system and graduated from George Westinghouse High School in 1957 and later graduated from Duff's Business School.

Upon graduation, she worked in the hospitality business. She retired as a receptionist for Dr. Philmore Crichlow in 2006. Where her work was a living example of one of her favorite bible verses, Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ." Mourden was an incredible matriarch known for her kindness and strong will. She was a constant source of wisdom and freely loved everyone around her. Her gentle guidance and unconditional love leave behind a beautiful legacy.

Mourden was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Baldwin; mother, Louise Craig; father, WC Craig; brothers, Paul Dean, Byron, and Charles; sisters Carol (Lois) Flynn and Peggy Tate (Reverend George Tate); grandsons, Brett and Kellyn Toliver; and her dear friend Joseph Harris.

Mourden leaves to cherish her memory her siblings Jerry (Karen) Craig, Virginia Craig, Richard Craig, and Spencer Craig; children Antonio Craig, Victor (Kelly) Toliver Sr, and Orlando Toliver; grandchildren Brandon (Sabrina) Stewart, Kandyce Stewart, Victor Toliver Jr, Vanessa Toliver, Sydney Toliver, and Jourden Toliver; 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
