Mikel B. Johnson

Mikel Brandon Johnson was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 26, 1994, to the parents of Kelly Daneen Johnson and Sherman Nathaniel Looney. He fell asleep in death on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

“Mikey” graduated from Job Corp. and studied horticulture. He played football for East Allegheny but he quit because he did not like to get hit. LOL His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those who knew him well, knew that he had a signature saying, “I don’t know what to think.”

Mikel is preceded in death by his grandmother, Marcella Looney; grandfather, Michael Johnson Sr.; cousin, Dorai Nacole Harris. He leaves to cherish his mother, Kelly D. Johnson; sister Tyler Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his father Sherman N. Looney (Terrie); brother, Sherman Looney Jr.; sister, Samaya of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Also surviving is his grandmother, Jacquelyn Johnson; grandfather, Leroy Miles; his aunt's, Dana Johnson (Dave), Jeri Johnson (her son, Dallas), April Manuel (Botise), Kimberly Dickerson, Denise Looney; his uncles, Michael Johnson Jr. (Keisha), Gary Miles, Laroi Bryant, Eric Looney; and his girlfriend, Tanaya Maclin (her son, Tyeir). Along with a host of family and friends. Mikel will be missed by all.
