Michelle Marie Ward

Michelle Marie Ward, affectionately known as "Shelly", was born on December 27, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Cassandra Ward.
Shelly was a resident of Wilkinsburg, PA where she attended and completed high school. In 1982 she gave birth to her beautiful daughter April and in 1995 a loving son Treyvon.
After working several jobs in fast food restaurants, Shelly entered Community College to pursue a career in nursing. Upon receiving her diploma, Shelly worked for various home health agencies until she was employed by Allegheny General Hospital where she worked for 17 years. Shelly enjoyed life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She spent time with her family going to various vacation spots, parks, movies, and many shopping sprees.
She gave her all to help other people. Her passion was working in the healthcare industry where she loved caring for the sick and elderly. Shelly also had a great social life where she would spend time with family and friends playing cards, games, going to picnics, and partying. Whenever and wherever Shelly went, her appearance had to be TIGHT!! Clothes had to match and that hair had to be RIGHT!! Even during her school days, she was almost late everyday. Her brother Ray would be saying "C'mon Shell" or "Hurry up Shell!" She took her time to make sure she was put together.
Shelly accepted the lord in 2008 at Manna on High Ministries-Bishop Arthur Brown Shelly departed this life peacefully on August 17, 2021. Shelly leaves to celebrate her memory a daughter April (Donte), son Treyvon, 2 sisters Margaret, Melissa, 2 brothers, Raymond, Larry, 4 grandchildren, Santana, Taylor, Prince, Dekari and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
