Mattie Lee (Barne) Rucker

Born in Madison County, Virginia, where she grew up with multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and let us not forget her loving grandparents. With a big beautiful heart and a need to protect and nurture all whose path she crossed. She has touched many, many lives and will not be forgotten by any of them. Preceded in death by husband LeRoy Rucker, Jr.; son Kerwin L Rucker; brother, John W. Baarnes; sister, Zeraline Robinson and grandson, Kenneth L Green Junior. Survived by daughters, Terri R. Rucker-Green, Cynthia L. Russ; grandchildren, Courtney E. Holt, Brandon C. Rucker, Kaprielle L. Green, and Richard K. Russ Jr.; great-grandson, Noah K.L. Green; niece, Sheila D. Mundy; two great nephews, and three great-great nephews. Rest now mother. You are our angel on Earth and now your angel sitting at the right hand of God. We love you forever more, Your family.
