Marshall Stewart was born May 19, 1946 and departed this life on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born on May 19, 1946 to the union of Marshall Stewart and Marie Snowden. He was the only son and have five sisters. Marshall attended the Pittsburgh Public School system; he attended Miller Elementary, Frick Jr. HIigh and was enrolled in the electrical program at Connley Trade School. After graduating he enlisted in the Navy and served for six years. Upon completing his time in the Navy he was employed at the US Steel Mill and the City of Pittsburgh Department of Bridges and Inspections. He met and married Lorena Taylor and together they had one son, Marshall Jr. and two-step children Neal and Carla Taylor. He was also the father of two children Gregory and Maria Stewart and one-step son, Robbie Washington from a previous marriage to Donna Woods. Marshall was a fun loving person with many friends. He enjoyed games of chance, sports and had a passion for the Steelers. Marshall and his wife traveled extensively with many travel partners until his illness prevented him from doing so! On 2014, he was diagnosed with cancer and fought a long hard battle. He was cared for by his loving and devoted wife until his passing. He leaves to mourn, his wife Lorena Stewart; his children Neal, Carla, Marshall Jr., Robbie, Greg, and Maria; twelve grandchildren, (one deceased); one great-grandson, three surviving sisters, Barbara, Delores, and Patricia and two deceased sisters, Ina and Donna. Marshall also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
