Marlon E. Knight was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 11, 1954. His parents were
Raymond and Shirley Knight. His beloved grandparents were Eddie and Lillian Williams, all have
preceded in him in death.
Marlon graduated in 1974, from Westinghouse High School. He also attended California State College.
Marlon became a member of the First Church of God In Christ in 1965, under the leadership of the late
Bishop Gordan E. Vaughn where he served for many years in the young adult choir.
On June 12, 1993, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Alice King. Alice was a loving and devoted wife to him during their marriage.
Marlon was employed at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic for 34 years, serving in various positions where he was respected and well-liked by all.
He enjoyed going to the beach, family and most of all was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
He went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2020.
He leaves to cherish his memory; wife Alice Knight, sons Kevin Witcher and Justin King, sister Daphany K. Branch (Charles), nieces Janelle and Shavonne Branch, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Step-Mother Sadie Knight, cousin Christine Bennett, brother Ricky Van Burgess, best friend Clayton Robinson, John Price and a host of relatives and friends.
