Lula V. Murrell

Lula V. Sutton was born on Jan 13, 1924 in Bossimer, LA to the late Roberta Dangerfield. She was educated in local schools in Bossimer. In 1943 she met and married the late Jesse J. Murrell. The couple moved to Pittsburgh, PA that same year. Mrs. Lula was preceded in death by her loving son Dennis Murrell. Mrs. Lula Murrell visited Deliverance Baptist Church later in life and fell in love with the congregation. She was baptized there and remained a faithful member until her death.

On Jan. 1, 2019, the Lord called her home. Mrs. Lula had one sister who preceded her in death, Catherine Sue Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memories three sisters, Millie Dangerfield, Nancy Dangerfield-Frazier, and Dell Dangerfield Ratiff all of Shreveport, Louisiana. Her lifelong friend, Sallie T. Hill of Pittsburgh, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

We love Mrs. Lula but God loved her most.
