Louise Francis (Williams) Hughes

Louise Francis Williams-Hughes was born to the late Callie Williams and Ehtel Williams on April 24, 938 in Roxboro, North Carolina. 

Louise departed her earthly home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her family at the beautiful age of 86. 

Louise graduated from McKeesport High School. She married the late Raymond Hughes in 1967. T this union two children were born, Wayne and Beatrice Hughes.

Louise was a Food Service Supervisor for 43 years at Montefiore Hospital.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She served faithfully as a Deaconess at Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church for 37+ years. She loved Sunday School and all things church.

Louise was predeceased in death by her parents Callie and Ethel Williams, and her beloved husband for 55+ years, Raymond Hughes.

Louise leaves to cherish her memories her two children; son Wayne Hughes and daughter: Beatrice Hughes. Four grandchildren; Ashley Hughes, Aleah Hughes, Wayne J., and Treyvon Hughes, three great grandchildren; Jayden Hughes, Logan Bailey, and Malani Bailey, two sisters; Anna Summers and Barbara (Calvin) George, and one brother, Callie Williams Jr. (Linda).

Louise will be missed by all her family and friends.
