Lawrence "Larry" B. Robinson, Sr.
Obituary
Larry B. Robinson (LB) was born in Jackson, Alabama on May 23, 1935, to the union of the late Wilmer Robinson and Anna Mae Darrington.
He accepted the Lord as his personal savior at an early age and served as a deacon at Mt. Sanai Baptist Church in Jackson, Alabama.
He attended Harper High School and graduated with honors in 1953. LB enlisted in the United States Army after graduating from High School, where he served his country faithfully.
He was proud to be a part of the 82nd Airborne Special Forces: as a Medic Technician. While in the United States Army, LB, resided in Washington, D.C. and worked as a bus driver: also driving limousines for politicians.
He eventually made his home in Pittsburgh, PA where he met and married the late Alleweze W. Robinson. He retired as a Foreman with Dana Construction Company.
Preceding him in death is his brother Cleveland Robinson: and his son Reginal Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Evelyn Johnson (Robert), Pensacola Florida; Veronica Lee, Los Angeles, CA.; Lawrence Robinson (Lisa), Pittsburgh, PA; Alfonso Robinson, Dover, Delaware; Timothy Adams, Los Angeles, CA; Shawn Adams, Pittsburgh, PA; Larraine Robinson- Allen, Pittsburgh, PA; Andre Robinson (Robin), Pittsburgh, PA.; 20 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
