Kenneth McKinley Ritter Sr. was a devoted father, respected community member, and a man whose life was defined by hard work, love, and dedication to family.
He leaves behind his beloved sons: Kenneth McKinley Ritter Jr., Kevin Myer Ritter, Keith Myron Ritter, and Kelly Michael Ritter, who will continue to carry on his legacy. He was a proud grandfather to four cherished grandchildren: Kenneth Ritter III, Corey Fields, Christian Ritter, and Naomi Ritter.
He is also survived by his former wife, Janet Essie Ritter, with whom he shared many years and the blessing of family.
Kenneth was a pillar of his community, known for his strength of character, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He dedicated 25 years of service to the City of Pittsburgh, where he worked as a Senior Craftsman and Zoning Specialist, earning the respect of colleagues and residents alike.
His deep love for family was rooted in the values instilled in him by his parents, Leroy and Lucille Ritter, and strengthened by the bond he shared with his nine siblings.
Kenneth will be remembered as a devoted father, a hardworking man, and a lasting presence in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
