John Simpson Rabb

John Simpson Rabb, the son of the late Ernest Rabb Jr and Mary Gardner Rabb transitioned from earth to glory on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Johnny as he was affectionately know was born on October 24, 1952.

He attended the Pittsburgh Public Schools and later was employed by Peoples Gas Company. Sadly, he became disabled and was forced to retire.

Johnny loved and enjoyed his family, He came to live with the Rankin family and became brother instead of cousin. HE was a great inspiration to the children and grandchildren and became a legend in their eyes.

Johnny enjoyed watching television and football games. He was an avid Steelers Fan and loved holidays.

Johnny was preceded in death by Derrelll Williams.

He leaves cherished memories to his son, Theon Johnson; one grandson, one granddaughter; three brothers Wade Lee Rabb, Terrell Williams, and Ernest (Danny Boy) Rabb III; two sisters, Darlene J. Rabb Sloan (Walter) and Sarah Williams.

He will be sadly missed.
