Obituary
James Albert Connor Jr., Army Veteran, Warrior, passed on May 18, 2023. He was the son of James Albert Connor Sr. and Mildred Lenora Bivens Connor, born January 11, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His siblings Sharlene, Deahn, Douglas, and Carlos Connor will continue to spread the strength and love of James to their sons, daughters, family, and friends. He now joins his first son, Marcus Leon Coffey, in a place we call Heaven. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
James’ lineage will live through each of us as a being of power that commanded respect and gave much tutelage to those who crossed his path. His passion was nested within sports of the highest competition but prioritized by the Pittsburgh Steelers football. James’ knowledge of history made conversations valuable, and strength and fitness gave him incredible unbound abilities within himself. James’ charisma made him a king and his “Jimisms” gave warmth to those in his kingdom. The model of a man, embodiment of power, and the heart of a father, led James Albert Connor Jr into a life of high adventures.
