James DeWayne Best

James DeWayne Best was born on January 11, 1972, to James D. Broughton Jr. and Elizabeth R. Best in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

James graduated from Therrell High School in Atlanta, Georgia. After completing his high school education in 1992, he made an honorable decision to enroll in the US Marines. James proudly served in both the Marines and the Army. He served his country with honor, dignity, and integrity. He loved his family and would do anything for anyone in need.

Following his military service, James embarked on a successful career at the Post Office. He dedicated many years to his work.

He will be deeply missed by his loving parents, James and Elizabeth, and his only child, James D. Best (son). He is also survived by his siblings, Alisha Best, Jevon Broughton, Dana Best, Jeremy Sly, and Jacqueline Best.

He is gone and never forgotten. He is always loved by a host of family and friends.
