James Adams

On Sunday, March 7, 2021 James Tony Adams suddenly departed this life at Allegheny General Hospital, when he heard God's call for him to come home James answered, Yes Father. James was born on January 31 1944, in Pittsburgh Pa to the late James and Dorothy Mae Adams. James attended elementary, middle, and high school in the Pittsburgh School System and graduated from Westinghouse High School, he furthered his education at Diesel Machanic School and was a PA Certified Inspector. After his education, James landed a job with port authority as a diesel mechanic where he worked for 20 years before retiring. 

James Tony enjoyed fishing, camping, and motorcycle riding. He also wrote poetry but James's love was for working on cars and anything that had a motor. In 1975 James married Anna Myrie Mebane Adams to this union two daughters were born, Tammi (Robert) Lewis, Nomeka (Juanita) Webb both of Pittsburgh PA. James is preceded in death by his wife Anna Myrie Mebane Adams, his daughter Lois West Griffin, his Parents James and Dorothy Adams, and 2 brothers David Copale and Williams G Adams. 

James Tony Adams was a loving father and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Tamni and Nomeka their partners, 1 stepdaughter Candice Washington, 1 stepson Scott Washington, 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and close acquaintances.
