Imonte' David Kendrick

Imonte' David Kendrick was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to David Lamont Kendrick, Sr. and Niesha T. Rice on March 8, 1997 and peacefully departed his temporal life in preference for life eternal on October 25, 2021 in Pittsburgh PA.

Imonte' was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School District where he did well in a variety of academic and sports activities. He also admired the talent of art. visual art and music. You could always catch him singing a tune or doing the two step every time the beat dropped!

In his early days "Tay", as we call him was dedicated to God and Baptized at St. John Baptist Church Hazelwood, PA.

After high school, he began trade school for Shop Vac Heating and Cooling. While living in Pittsburgh and working a variety of jobs. 

Imonte, was a beacon of light bringing his electric smile and energetic personality to those who loved him, is what we will miss the most. He was always laughing and dancing encouraging those around him to see the brighter side of any situation. Anyone who knows him well knows that he was always in your refrigerator or on his way to see what you were cooking for the day. 

His legacy is a life of love and kindness, a man with a gentle heart and an electric soul that touched many lives; and of course "Tay" was a ladies man. He cared and protected us like he was the oldest often times he was the youngest. However, he had the heart of a "Lion", he made us feel safe and protected whenever he was around.

Grandparents Danny and Cadiara Kendrick; the late Dennis Rice and present Barbara Russel-Musiq as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more relatives and friends who love him dearly!
