My Grandma
My Miracle. Alabama, cornbread fed, but Pittsburgh helped make her. The person that everyone loved and nobody would dare love to hate. The kindest sould that I’ve ever been blessed enough to meet. She was my Santa every Christmas and my sunshine every summer. Her smile could light a room and her pure spirit was food for my soul. My Grandma – My Heart. She taught me empathy before I knew what the word meant. Making me understand that there is strength in understanding others. A moral compass to help guid me when I got turned around. A person who loved so many and was loved back equally by all. I’ve been told I was her pride and she most certainly was mine. My Grandma was my everything.
