Freeman Michael Holeman Sr. was born on November 20, 1956, to Julia Holeman-Beamer and the late Walter Holeman. He attended Westinghouse High School and graduated in the class of 1975. He was employed with the Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority for 32 years. Thereafter, Freeman retired but continued to work with the Local Laborers Union #1058. Freeman was baptized and joined the fellowship as a member of Central Baptist Church. On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Freeman was called into eternal life at the age of 66. He left behind Deborah Holeman, and his loving companion, Cassandra Oliver. He is also survived by siblings Marian, LeeVan, Annette, Jacqueline (Joe) & Nina. Survived by his children Felicia, Michael (Leah), Judy (Maurice), Bridgette, Freeman (Meghan), Jahdai & the late Jayante ‘Tre’. Grandchildren include Malea, Michael Quincy, Ka'Vere, Amiyah, Chaurice, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends. Loving companion Cassandra Oliver's children Henry & Tanika Paul & grandchild Rashad. He will be remembered as a hard worker, loving father, and companion. He was well-loved, admired, and respected by the community & those who knew him. Freeman will be deeply missed. A visitation will be held @ Cornerstone Baptist Church located at 1701 Lincoln Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 4 pm - 8 pm. The Funeral Service will also take place @ Cornerstone Baptist & will start promptly on Saturday, April 22nd @ 1 pm.
