On March 13th, 1945, Frank William Wallace was born to Grace Lucindia Richardson and James Henry Wallace in Pittsburgh, PA. He departed this temporal life in preference to life eternal on September 5th, 2024.
Frank was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System where he received his High School Diploma from South Hills High School. He was a standout athlete at South Hills High School, excelling in Track and Field (hurdles). He would become one of the top hurdlers in the Pittsburgh area, competing in State Championships. After graduating High School, he worked for Westinghouse Airbrake in Pittsburgh, PA until he was drafted to the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he moved to Michigan to work for Ford Motor Parts. He would eventually return to Pittsburgh, where he would spend time at North Carolina Mutual Insurance Company. He would eventually find his life’s work at Allstate Insurance Company in 1973. It was at Allstate Insurance Company where he would go on to be one of the Top Agents in the Western Pennsylvania District. Frank retired as an Independent Agent with Allstate after 37 years of service. When he wasn’t focused on his career, he enjoyed laughing with his family and friends, shooting hoops with his kids, spending time with his grandchildren, singing, travelling and of course…watching the Steelers.
On October 14th, 1972, Frank was united in Holy Matrimony to Doreen Rochelle Jones. From this union, three children were born: Jason William Wallace, Kristina Renee Wallace, and Jonathan Edward Wallace.
A point of maturity was reached in Frank’s life when he professed hope in Christ and united with the fellowship of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. He joined the fellowship of the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Male Chorus where he devoted more than 20 years.
Preceding him in death were his mother Grace Lucindia, father; James Henry; Two Brothers; James B. Wallace and Bobby Wallace; and four Sisters; Sara Bates, Grace Hurt, Josephine Organ, and Marjorie Garner.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife Doreen. His Three children; Jason, Kristina, and Jonathan. Daughter-in-law, Marquelle. His nine grandchildren; Amani-Jai and Sierra Renee (Jason Wallace). Jaelyn Ariana, Jasmyn Kristina, Kristofer Shaun, and Kameron Isaiah (Kristina Wallace). Jonathan “LJ” Edward Jr., Madeline Ramona, and Marlowe FRANKIE (Jonathan and Marquelle Wallace). Along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Frank was loved and will truly be missed. Rest in Paradise…. My Love, Our Father and Our Pap Pap!
