Fannie Mae Craig 73, was born in Lineville, Alabama on October 9, 1947. She attended the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) and received a certificate in Food Service. She was employed the Double Tree Hotel as a chef for over 20 years. After retiring, Fannie’s passion for cooking and enjoying time with her family and friends continued. Spending every holiday with them kept her in good spirits. Her family was indeed the breathe she breathed. Fannie was an avid reader and also enjoyed traveling. She loved to dance to music and was a fashionista, who loved to dress and struct in her high heels. Fannie was known as being out going, fun, and the life of the party. She had a compassionate spirit and lived a blessed life.
Fannie passed away on August 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henrietta Turner and Curtis Lindsey, Sr.; her daughter, Glennora Craig; siblings, Willie Craig, Ralph Craig, James Lindsey, Hubert Lindsey, Alvin Lindsey, Curtis Lindsey Jr., Horace Lindsey, and Pauline Hale. She is survived by her her two daughters, Belinda and LaShun Craig; 6 grandchildren Keisha, Michael, LaTosha, Sam, Markeia, and Mark Craig; her 10 great grandchildren; brother, Billy Joel Jordan Sr.; 6 sisters, Diane Craig, Joanne Cooper, Bonnie Caldwell, Bertha Smith, Beverly Robinson, and cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
