Eunice M. Golphin was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 21, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Robert Woods and Mattie Lee Crittenden. Eunice attended the Pittsburgh Public School system and graduated in 1960 from Allderdice High School. After graduation, she was employed for 20 plus years with Westinghouse Credit and took advantage of early retirement.
She was also employed at ATT and National City Bank. Eunice enjoyed life and was an avid bowler and Jeopardy watcher. She was mostly a homebody in retirement living a peaceful life. She was a member of Emory United Methodist Church, now Crossroads Church.
Eunice was a two-time cancer survivor and succumbed to complications of the disease. She is survived by her son, Gregory M. Wood (LaTisha); sister, Carol Harris; brother, Harold Wood; granddaughters, April Washington (Dante) and Mattie Collins-Wood; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends
