Deborah Peoples Obituary

Deborah Elizabeth Peoples was born on October 24, 1953, to Horace and Jimmy Peoples. Deborah was welcomed into a home in the Birmingham, Alabama area by one sister, Patricia and soon joined by four sisters Yvonne, Janice, Renee, and Tara, and one brother, Horace Peoples Jr. Deborah ventured to the city of New York where is she graduated from Yonkers High School as well as the Art Institute of New York and soon became a commercial artist while doing hair and seamstress work in her spare time. She was the mother of four children Lisa, Solomon, Dawn, and Robert. To be closer to her sisters, Deborah moved to Pittsburgh, PA. She found her passion in nursing in the late 80s however, her true calling was to follow in her father's footsteps which were to walk in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ by becoming a minister. Becoming a grandmother to 14 grandchildren she was affectionately known as Grammy to Nicole, Ashley, Britany, Samantha, Gabrielle, Michael, Marc, Khalil, Ace, Deric, Madison, Javon, Dion, and Gabe. Deborah served as a well establish reverend and leader in her community proudly in the mid-2000s. She met her soon-to-be husband, William Mars who spent many blissful years enjoying life. With all her medical obstacles she fought in the most righteous way relying on her faith and staying strong during her fight through the strength of the Lord Jesus Christ. Deborah leaves behind her husband, William Eugene Mars Sr., two siblings, Hortense and Horace Jr., four children, and 14 grandchildren. She now joins her four sisters alongside her Jesus Christ
