David Moore Obituary

David Lamar Moore was born on July 19, 1991 at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Nicole Burke Moore and Lamar Moore.

David affectionately known as "Doodlez", attended Pittsburgh Public Schools from Kindergarten until he graduated with his diploma from Westinghouse High School in 2009. David attended Job Corp in Philadelphia, PA and got certified in Pumbling. David attended a program with UPMC's Environmental Services and received his certification on November 30, 2021. David was very excited about his recent accomplishments and so was his family.

David worked several jobs throughout his life. His first job was at McDonald's. He also worked at a construction site, at a chocolate factory, janitorial services, and most recently at Magee's Environmental Services.

David's pride and joy were his sons. On 7/25/13 David Lamar Charles Moore Jr. was born to David and Dazsha and on 7/18/16 Trey Lamar Derrick Moore was born to David and Daiva. David had nicknames for his boys. David Jr. aka "Baby Doodlez" and Trey aka "Busshead". His relationship with his boys was priceless. Filled with lots of laughter as he spoke to them as if they were his bestfriends. David was very supportive of Baby Doodle when it came to football. He spent lots of time with Busshead just ripping and laughing because all they knew was play.

David was always the life of the party. He joked about everything. He was very outspoken and told it like he saw it. He was a protector of his parents, children, siblings, and family. He was very affectionate to all the women in his family and in his community. He wouldn't hesitate to give hugs and kisses to his loved ones when he saw them.

David was extremely afraid of dogs. He would run and cry when he saw them. His father bought him a dog once and David ran one way while the dog flew in a different way. One day David was so afraid of a dog that he ran and busted his head just days before attending the prom.

David was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He would taunt and talk mess on game days especially about the Steelers. David had an infectious smile and laugh that would light up a room. Although he wasn't much of a dancer it never stopped him from cutting the rug and making people laugh.

David leaves to continue loving him; his parents Andre and Nicole Moore, his father Lamar Moore, his grandmothers Diane Mathews, Sylvia Moore, and Clothia Williams, his children, David (Dazsha) and Trey (Daiva) Moore, one bonus son Mikey (Daiva), 2 bonus daughters Jaelynn and Emari (Jenelle), his siblings, Andre, T'Yanna, Tatyanna, Phana, Lamar, Carlos, Jasmine, Lameara, Damear, Marquise, and Brooklyn, a nephew Carlos Jr. and a niece Mia, his aunts, Nadine Burke Jackson (Fred), Tyree Sloan, Patricia Parker (Tom), Hopie Mathews, Nisa Medina (Gee), Jaretha Polk, and Ebonie Williams. His uncles, John Burke (Victoria), Malcolm and Andre Mathews, Ron Polk (Takiyah), Lateef Bakare and Michael Moore. Godmothers, Kamillah Wesley and Dara Witherspoon. God Siblings, Timmesha Bey, Tia Polk, Ny'Jorae Noel and Victoria Harper. God Siblings, Jessie Love and Legin Noel. David has so many special cousins that he rocked with heavy that it was too many to name. David had a nickname for you all. Just cherish it, laugh at it because it was him. Just know that you had a special place in his heart and he knows he will remain in your hearts forever.

David was preceded in death by his grandfathers John Burke Jr., Luther Mathews, Duane Moore Sr., and John Willis, his grandmother Ruby "Gee Gee" Bailey. His brother Trey Moore, his cousins Duane Moore and Darnell Cambell Jr., and his uncle Duane Moore Jr.
