David Paul Hale, Sr. was born on April 8, 1960 to the late Herbert Turner and Madeline Hale. David served his country in the US Army National Guard and participated in the conflict during Desert Storm.
After completing basic training in the National Guard, he met Carol Dillingham in 1982. The two were inseparable and a short time after they met, he proposed and three children were born from their union. The first expansion of their family occurred in 198 5 with the birth of David Paul Hale, Jr. followed by Mario Dimitri Hale in 1990 and Alicia Dionna Hale in 1992.
During his time in the National Guard (1982 – 1994 ) he answered the call of duty and was activated to full-time in the US Army National Guard in 1990. SGT. First Class, David P. Hale was asked to teach in heavy field artillery which at the time was his area of expertise. In 1994, he decided to focus on his expanding family and received an honorable discharge. As time progressed and life went on, he was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, David Isaiah Hale and Ivory Lynn Hale.
He was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Hale, parents-in-law Cleveland and Virginia Dillingham, and niece Jasmine Hale. David leaves to mourn him, his mother Madeline Hale, three sisters Marcel (Antonio) Moses, Ivy Hale King, and Caren Pendleton. One brother Jonathan Hale. He leaves to mourn him his immediate family and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
