Daniel James Brice

Daniel James Brice was born December 3, 1994, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Bernadine Plowden and adopted by her mother, Deborah Brice. He departed this life on September 22, 2021. He was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system and received his diploma in 2011 and was employed by the city of Pittsburgh. DJay as he was fondly known as a doting father to all his children and was a devoted son. He was a friend who could be trusted and who you could count on. DJay always tried to do the right thing and to know him was to love him. He was always very kind and caring. He leaves to mourn 3 children, Jamee Cheeks, Amaree Cheeks, and Daniel J. Jr.; 3 step-daughters, Kucasha, Jazine, and Del Mouika; mother, Bernadine Plowden his and adopted mother, Deborah Brice; life mates, Kwalin Brooks and Doniece Cheeks; uncle, Marion Plowden; aunts, Beverly Clark and Jane Brice; sisters, Daenell and Shauna; two brothers, Daevon and Daequale; nephews, Maleck, Shaun, and Shain; and a host of friends. DJay was only lent to us. Now we must return him to his heavenly father. He will surely be missed, yet we will see him again
