Daisy Irene Johnson was born on February 2, 1940 to the late Dennis and Minnie Colvin. She was the youngest sister of 10 siblings. Daisy was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system. After school Daisy was united in marriage to the late Eugene Johnson on December 6, 1958. From this union a daughter Renee, and a son Eugene Jr. were born. Daisy also raised her nephew Kenneth Flowers. Daisy was a homemaker and a caring mother for she enjoyed her motherly duties most. Cleaning windows, cooking meals, and doctors appointments. She took it all in stride with obligation. As her children aged she traveled, took exercise classes, and thoroughly enjoyed her grandparent club, by this time she was raising a granddaughter Aschley. Daisy loved the simplistic things in life. She enjoyed the seasons Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Engaging with others, family, weddings, and going to the store riding the handicap carts. She loved fried chicken, potato salad, and a cold Pepsi as a meal. Daisy is preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Minnie Colvin; grandson Jason Johnson Strong; six brothers; George Lee Carter, Eugene Carter, James Carter, Dennis Colvin, Henry Colvin, Bobby Colvin; three sisters; Margaret Randolph, Ida Mae Harris, Minnie Thornhill. Daisy leaves to mourn her memory her children and loved ones; Eugene and Nannet Johnson, Renee Johnson, Kenneth Flowers, Curtis Thorpe, sister Anna Mae Flowers, grandchildren Ashley Johnson, Floyd and Alisha Hanner, Asia Pryor, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
