Curtis Cleveland Kelly

Peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2020, Curtis Cleveland Kelly departed from his earthly life into eternal rest with his heavenly father. Born August 20, 1945, Curtis was the son of Boston Kelly and Mary McDaniel from Mullins, South Carolina. The Kelly family moved to the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when Curtis was four years old. Curtis graduated from Fifth Avenue High School in 1964 then joined the United States Marine Corps. He met his soul mate in 1972. Curtis and Anne Marie Patterson married March 19, 1976, united for 44 years until his passing. A loving father of twin girls and a son. For thirty-two years, Curtis worked as a technician for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies until his retirement in 2002. A hard worker—Curtis began working at the age of eight—he enjoyed making money and sharing what he earned. He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed life, loved to travel, music, and spending time with his family and friends. Curtis adored his grandsons. Curtis was proceeded in death by his father and mother, sister Margie, brother Boston Jr. He leaves to mourn his passing, widow Anne Marie Kelly, daughter Kendra Lee, daughter Kerri Lynn both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son Curtis Cleveland Jr., grandson Tremar Curtis and grandson Daemar Curtis of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. He also leaves sister Mildred Brown of Pittsburgh, sister Barbara Steele (Carlos) of Pittsburgh, sister Paulette Thompson (Elliot) of Clearmont, Florida, sister Delores Doss of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. He also leaves to mourn him a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-laws, additional family and close friends.
