Clyde Taliaferro Parr was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 28, 1934, he departed life on April 6, 2024 he was 1 of 13 children born to Gerald and Susie (Taliaferro) Parr Sr.
He grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Pittsburgh public schools, he joined the US Army September 27, 1957.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He loved his family and would do anything you asked him to do he was a very kind man, he loved life and he also enjoyed music and loved singing he knew every word to the songs, he was also very creative he liked working with wood making lamps and working with ceramics. He married Louise Napoleon and she had a son named Butch, years later they divorced.
He moved to New York City and lived there many years, he then moved back to Pittsburgh and lived with his parents, and worked at The Montefiore Hospital where he retired from, in later years he resided at the VA hospital.
He was preceded in death his parents Gerald and Susie (Taliaferro) Parr Sr., his Sisters Betty Madison, Virginia Claybrook, Dorothy Prunty, Brothers Gerald Parr, Frank, Wilbur, David, Robert and George. Left to cherish his memory are Sisters: Frances Townsend and Lois Gilkes and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends.
