Claude Smith

Claude Smith was born November 30, 1948, to Bertha Smith and Claude Johnson. Claude was called to eternal rest on February 4, 2024 Claude grew up in Princeville, NC. Claude later graduated from W.A. Patillo High School. Claude relocated to Pittsburgh, PA in 1976. Claude later met and married his wife Barbara L. Clark on June 20, 1998. Claude held several jobs including working in the public school system, and Allegheny General Hospital where he later retired after 20+ years. Claude had two children from his previous marriage, Tiwanna Simmons and Claude Maurice Smith. Claude enjoyed baseball, The Redskins, and The Steelers. Claude is preceded in death by his daughter Tiwanna Simmons. Claude leaves to honor his memory his wife, Barbara, son, Claude, sisters, Bertha Huger of PGH, PA Laura and Melvin Roberts of Florence SC, Thelma and Willie Wiggins of Princeville, SC, Forest and Song Smith of Columbus, GA, Beluah S., Mary S., and Sherry Boyd of Columbia, SC, four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
