Cassandra is survived by:

*Nicole (Sylena) Boyd, 50 *Dana Montgomery 51, and *Edward Montgomery 50; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren ; 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Donald Boyd, Jack Jr. Boyd, Debra Boyd, Jacquelyn Boyd, and Cheryl Denise Poindexter (siblings) ; and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and all who she new, and touched. 

Cassandra was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Jack and Doris Anne Boyd. She graduated from Schenley High School. She attended California University in 1972. She was a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She worked for Mercy Hospital for about 30 years and then UPMC from 2006 to 2014, where she retired from.

Cassandra was a devoted Christian and enjoyed travelling, cooking (specialty: Sweet potato Pie), and enjoying family and friends.
