Casey Oliver Obituary

Casey Oliver was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 4, 1979. He was the youngest son of Lloyd and Rosalind Oliver.
Casey began his Spiritual walk with the Lord at age 4, when he was enrolled into daycare at the Salvation Army Worship Center in Homewood-Brushton. He and his siblings grew up in the church on Frankstown Avenue going to Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. As an adult, he continued his Spiritual journey at the Salvation Army, under the Guidance of Captain Mells. He was married at the Salvation Army Worship Headquarters in Downtown Pittsburgh. Captain Mells even prayed over and blessed Casey and Fran's first home after they were married.
He grew up on Blackdore Avenue located on the East Side of Pittsburgh, where by the age of 7 he was already helping his grandfather and father in their rubbish business. Casey had a knack for things with motors, and this special gift had him teaching a few of his older brothers how drive a Manuel vehicle on his own 1979 BMW. In 2002, at the early age of 12, he would go on to being a pretty efficient mechanic, there would be people from all over Homewood, Penn Hills, East Hills and as far as the Northside bringing their cars to him right in the driveway! Casey’s love for cars led him to becoming a remarkable driver and his gift only increased as he built a black C5 Corvette that would defeat the odds as he went on to eliminate many professional drag racers!
He also was blessed with another powerful gift. Casey could sell water to a whale and the whale would be happy! Nobody ever understood how he was able to do such things, but it helped him in endeavors to come, many contracts were solidified, and a lot of deals completed, because of Casey’s ability to negotiate. He had several businesses, trucking to Towing, he was currently working on his latest projects which were a candy store for his children to work and learn business, and a Notary Company for his mom. Which leads us to his biggest gift, it was the love Casey had for his family, especially the kids, from his own to his nieces and nephews to all their friends. Casey Loved the kids and no matter how sick he felt he was going to make sure all the kids in the family were ok and his special relationship with each of them will never be forgotten. When it was time to go on family vacation you better believe Casey was going to make sure he was going to get as many kids as he could! Family! If we could describe him in one word it would be Family!
He embraced the word and lived everyday owning the word! Casey leaves behind a host of family, his loyalty for his family could not go unnoticed, His love unmatched, parents, Cornell & Rosalind Oliver; uncles, Milton Oliver
and Calvin Wilson; former spouse, Francis Oliver; Sister, Jenne; brothers, Lloyd, Brian, Walter, Lamont, and Sheldon Oliver; children Perris, Paige, Caia, Keyonna and Casey Oliver; two grandchildren, Kalani and Kassai Oliver; a host of nieces and nephews, Shyra, Andre, Albert, Tacceri, Taccuri, Myia McKenzie , Lamont, Sydney, London, Dominic, Kendrick, Nahdiya, Nyelle, Nyneece , Maurice, Dior, Khalil, Lebria Haines, Bobbi-Lynn, Zamora Juan, Heavon, Brennon, Nyia, Raven, Sky, and Stormy; three greats Veryl, Vionna,& Tremeir, Extended brothers Ronald Diggs, Keith Clark, and Shawn Hall; and a host of cousins and friends.
