CL Rowry

C. L. Rowry made his transition into his heavenly home unexpectedly on March 13, 2020. C.L. was born June 17, 1931, in Liland, Mississippi to the late Samuel and Ella Rowry.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Ida Robinson in 1951. C.L. worked at the United States Steel Mill for 35 years until he retired.

He was a member of Ebinezer Baptist Church for more than 50 years.

C.L. enjoyed fishing and gardening in his spare time and loved spending time with his family.

His loving memories will be cherished and he will be sadly missed by his step-son, Berdell Robinson of Pittsburgh, Pa; granddaughter, Regina Robinson Williams of Queens, New York; brother, Johnny Rowry; sisters, Earnistine (Thomas) McFadden, Earlean Rowry, Ella Mae (Richard) Phipps and Clara Rowry; sister-in-law, Lillian Rowry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

C.L. was preceded in death by brothers, T.L., Albert and Frank Rowry and sister, Katherine Thomas.
