Obituary

Bryson LeAnthony Smith Allen, aged 7 months, passed away on Monday October 5, 2020 at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Bryson was born on February 12, 2020, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to parents Trevor Smith and Shakira Allen. A joyful and intelligent baby, Bryson was known by his family and friends to be a lovable, adorable, precious baby and could brighten up a room with his beautiful smile. Some called him "Scooter" and others called him "Bam Bam", and "Bubba" but he was everyone's baby!

Bryson loved to hear his mother sing to him, "Better Days" and "Deliver Me"; those songs would soothe him and and would lull him to sleep every time. With Bryson's big smile, strangers would even stop to acknowledge the beautiful glow that followed him. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed watching people, playing with his keys, cuddling with his mom and dad, and being held.

Bryson is survived by his father, Trevor Smith and mother, Shakira Allen of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Portia Smith; maternal grandparents, TedraAllen and David Parker; great grandparents, Shirlene Freeman (Lewis Mitchell), Edward Collins, George Freeman, Virgil Pinkston (Shirl Pinkton) Gloria Parker and Jordan Jenkins; aunt Dajiah Allen; uncles Ryan Allen, Bryan Allen, and Tyler Smith. Bryson also leaves to cherish his memory, a host of great uncles, aunts and cousins.

Bryson was preceded in death by Great Grandparents Yvonne and Willie Griffin, Geraldine and James Allen; Aunt, Onie Williams; uncle, Edward Collins, and cousin Briauna Slaughter.
