Brent El. Hucks was born on October 15, 1977, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the oldest of two sons born to Jacqueline Hucks and the late Wilbert Hucks whose lives he enriched with his joyful spirit. Brent was educated in the Wilkinsburg School and Penn Hills School Districts. From an early age Brent exhibited a heart full of compassion and an unwavering dedication to those around him. Brent loved and adored his sisters, Lezlie Edwards and Daryl Johnson. However as the older brother to Andrew, he shared, an unbreakable bond routed in laughter, loyalty and countless cherished memories. Known for his warm smile, generous spirit and ability to bring comfort and joy to others, Brent was a friend to many and someone you could always rely on. A person who truly listened and cared. He was a sharp dresser and was meticulous of his choice of clothing. Brent and Stephanie shared a love story that spanned more than 30 beautiful years, filled with unwavering devotion and countless cherished memories building a life rooted in love, laughter, and togetherness. Their bond was unshakable, and they found joy in the simplest of things—spending evenings at the movies, enjoying intimate dinners, and taking long, peaceful drives under the stars. Every moment spent together was a treasure to them, whether it was an adventure or just quiet time at home. There was nothing in life they didn’t face hand in hand. Brent greatest pride and joy was being a devoted father to his six beautiful children. Brenttney, Brent Jr., Lataya, Malachi, Bre-Nia, and Labrea. He enjoyed his family and friends and his house was the meeting place for laughter and great memories. On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Brent departed this life for life eternal. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Hucks and nephews David and Luther. He leaves cherished memories to his 99-year-old grandmother, Katherine Hills; his loving mother, Jacqueline Hucks; the love of his life Stephanie Armstrong; children Brenttney Hucks, Brent Hucks Jr., Lataya Hucks, Malachi Drake, Bre-Nia Hucks, and Labrea Hucks; siblings, Daryl Johnson, Lezlie Edwards and Andrew Hucks; grandchildren, Dajour, Sheldon, Malachi Jr., (Harmony soon to be born); nieces and nephews, Travis, Christian, Shaunda, Ayanna; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
