Antoinette LaToya "Toi" Porterfield was born to Betty Jean Porterfield and Joseph Lee Boltonon March 14th, 1979. Antoinette lost her life, along with her friend John West, tragically on August 13th, 2024. Toi loved music and dancing, and she was perhaps Tupac Shakur's biggest fan. Antoinette attended Pittsburgh Public Schools graduating from Schenley High School in 1997. She loved all of her family members intensely and was there whenever she was needed. Toi left an unforgettable impression on everyone she met. Even when she made you mad, you couldn't help but love her. She loved children and would buy snacks for the kids in the neighborhood. Every morning around 6:00am she took her dog out and had bread with her to feed the birds. If she was late the birds would gather on her porch. Toi also liked taking care of the elderly, and in the last few weeks of her life she was employed as an in-home caretaker. Antoinette was a one-of-a-kind creation of God who will never be duplicated.
