Anthony Johnson

Anthony "Tony" Johnson, 64 years-old, was the third of seven children, born to Melvin Johnson Sr. and the late beloved Lillian Alice (Gandy) Johnson, on December 14, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Tony was educated through the Pittsburgh Public School system. He was a graduate of Allegheny High School. Afterwards, he went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp. Later, he went on to attend Community College of Allegheny County until he became disabled. 

Tony was a kind, gentle spirited, humble, loving and easy going person. He enjoyed dancing and bowling, dedicating a great deal of his time volunteering for the Reformed Presbyterian Home for Senior Citizens on the Northside. 

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian A. (Gandy) Johnson, his two brothers, Melvin Johnson Jr., and Christopher "Chris" Johnson, Grandmothers, Rev. Ora D. (Gandy) Simpson and Lillie J. (Comer) Harris.

Tony leaves in Gods care, his father, Melvin Johnson Sr., His devoted siblings, Melvina "Vicki" (William) Dixon, Patricia A. Johnson of New York, Cynthia A. (Vernon) Davis, Steven D. Johnson and Michael T. Johnson; Uncle, Elder Quevelle (Ethel) Gandy of California; Many cherished and caring nieces, nephews and close cousins and loyal and treasured friends who will always treasure Tony's loving memory....
