Ali Montel Watts Ballow was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1995, to Monique Ballow and Sonnie Ali Watts.
Ali attended the Pittsburgh Public School system and graduated from Dansville School District, in Dansville, Pennsylvania.
Ali suffered from sickle cell disease all of his life. However, that did not stop him from being the jokester of the family. Ali had a smile that would light up the room. He had a great relationship with his brothers and sister and was very close to his mother. Ali was loved by many and just by looking at him, no one knew how badly he suffered from sickle cell.
Ali grew up with a supportive family on the Northside of Pittsburgh as well as Homewood. At the age of 12 years, Ali gave his life to the Lord and later became a member of Your Greater Destiny Church.
He departed this life on July 21, 2023, at the young age of 27. Ali was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Mary Anne Carlisle, and Sandra Carter.
He leaves to cherish the memories of his wife, Paula Watts Ballow: his Mothers Monique Ballow and Chantel Hamilton: fathers, Von Wright and Sonnie Watts: son Montel Mosley: daughter, Aliyah Monique Watts Ballow: grandparents, Joseph, and Debra Hall: great-grandfather, Berkley Ballow: brothers, Demond Dixon, Travon Ballow, Von Thomas, Jabril Watts, and Sonnie Watts Jr.: sisters, Nykeea Thomas, Latazia Watts, and Aajia Morinello: and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
